Any items meeting our guidelines, but not listed here, are not

currently being sent due to the changing needs of our Troops. 

Please hold these items until they are needed.

• Cool Ties

  • Ground Troops:

    • 100% Cotton fabric

    • Tan Only, due to military safety regulations

  • Medical Units and Ships:

    • 100% Cotton fabric

    • Patriotic prints*, "fun" masculine prints, and solid navy blue.

    • *Please avoid any prints with an exact replication of the American flag, as these can not be worn due to military regulations.

• Hats and Slippers: Knitted, Crocheted, or Sewn

• Ground Troops:

  • Single strand worsted weight (4ply) yarn or equivilant

  • 100% Animal Fibers ONLY (such as wool) due to military safety regulations

  • Black or Coyote Brown ONLY, due to military safety regulations. No color stripes.

• Medical Units:
  • Single strand worsted weight (4ply) yarn or equivilant

• "Soft" yarns such as Caron's Simply Soft, or similar. Acrylic, animal fiber, or blends.

• Any masculine colors that are fun, bright, and cheerful. Team colors and patriotic blends are popular.

• PLEASE AVOID: Pastels, "flecked" yarns, black, brown, tan, and other drab colors.

• Ships:

  • Single strand worsted weight (4ply) yarn, or equivilant

  • Any non-specialty yarn, soft yarns preferred. Acrylic, animal fiber, or blends.

  • Any masculine colors. Bright, fun colors are preferred. Team colors and patriotic blends are popular.

  • PLEASE AVOID: Pastels, "flecked" yarns.
