3-4 oz worsted weight yarn
H hook
Ch 4, join with a sl st to form ring.
1: Ch 2 (counts as 1st dc) work 9 dc, join with a sl st in top of Ch 2.
(10 dc) Chain 2 makes your seam in the same place in all rounds.
2: Ch 2, dc in same st, *2 dc in next st, continue from * around, Join
with a sl st in top of ch 2 (20 dc)
3: Ch 2, dc in same st, 1 dc in next st, around (30 dc) (for smaller size
around, ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next for total of 25
dc on this round)
4: 1 dc in each around
5-12: Repeat round 4
Row 13: Ch 3, dc in next 23 sts, turn
Row 14-17: Ch 3, dc in each across. Turn. (17 rows will make 9 ½ inch
slipper.
Make 19 rows for 10 ½ inch slipper, and 21 rows for 11 ½ inch slipper)
First decrease
row: dc in next 9 sts. Decrease 2 sts by
working(2 dc together) twice.
Dc in next 10 sts. Ch 3, turn.
Second decrease row: dc in next 8
sts. Decrease 2 sts by working (2 dc together) twice.
Dc in next 9 sts. Join to 1st st in row with sl st.
CUFF:
1: Ch 3, Dc in each sp and each st around to toe section. At toe, work 1
dc in each of next 6 st, dc in each space and stitch around to beginning.
Join with a sl st.
2-3 (or 4): Dc in each st around, joining at end of each row with sl st.
At end of final row, fasten off. Leave long tail. Thread tail down through
rows of cuff to opening. Sew opening together, and weave through all ends
