Row 2: knit around
Work in this matter to 20 sts: 5-10-5, then knit sts on 1st needle onto 3rd needle
weave end with Kitchener stitch, as follows:

Hold the 2 needles parallel; with an 18" length of yarn and a tapestry needle, go into
1st st of front needle as if to k, pull off needle with point of tapestry needle (do not pull
yarn through at this time), go into next st on front needle as if to P and, leaving it on the
needle, pull the yarn through both sts. Now work on the back needle, keeping yarn under
the first needle. Go into first st as if to P, pull off needle (do not pull yarn through), go into
2nd st as if to K & pull yarn through both sts*. Continue in this way alternating between the
2 needles until ther is 1 st left on each needle. Pull through both of these sts & weave into
wrong side. Then weave in loose end of yarn at beginning of slipper. Make another, and
tie the two slippers together with a piece of yarn, so they'll stay together.
